The Tajio tribe is one of the ethnic groups who live on the island of Sulawesi,specifically in Central Sulawesi.Tajio means "NO" which is part of the kaili language spoken by people living on the eastern coast of Central Sulawesi,Their history includes the influence of Islam through marriage to mandar nobles and the appointment of the first leader,Raja or Arojang Taunai,in the early 18th century,as well as the existence of the Kasimbar kingdom's government sytem

The Tajio tribe inhabits the eastern coast of Central Sulawesi,especially in the areas of Kasimbar,South tolitoli, and parts of Parigi Moutong.
- The majority live in coastal areas,with their livelihoods as fishermen, farmers, and traders.
- Some other live in mountainous regions.
"Mosalia" Traditional ceremony of the Tajio
The Mosalia Traditional Ceremony is the largest ceremony for the Tajio tribe community,where the Nomalit procession or circling the Traditional House seven times and mosalia are still well-preserved,This is inseparable from the role of the traditional leaders in the local village.
